We connect and leverage the efforts of people and organizations working on public health in the developing world for greater impact. These include groups and organizations providing health care, clean water, better sanitation, improved cookstoves, and health education and disease prevention. Better health means a better standard of living, and improved circumstances create greater economic stability.
HWC introduces prospective medical mission teams to area of greatest need and coordinates their efforts with other volunteers. HWC provides consulting support to certain qualified small organizations. It is not a grant making organization.
